Is the rate on this page the rate I actually get?
Yes. The figure at the top of the page already includes our margin, so there is no second, worse rate waiting at checkout. When you start a transfer we hold that rate for fifteen minutes while you pay. If you take longer, we reprice and show you the new number before anything moves.
What does it cost to send?
There is no transfer fee. We earn a margin on the exchange rate and we publish what it is, which is the part most providers leave out. Your own bank may charge you for the outbound payment from your Australian account — that one is between you and them.
How much can I send at once?
Limits depend on your verification level and are shown in your account before you confirm. Larger transfers can trigger a source-of-funds question under the AML/CTF Act — a payslip, a contract of sale, a bank statement. It is a normal part of a regulated transfer, not a sign anything is wrong.
What do I need to verify my identity?
An Australian driver licence, passport or Medicare card, checked electronically against government records through the Document Verification Service. Most people are cleared in a few minutes without uploading anything. You do this once, not every transfer.
What information do I need about my recipient?
For a bank deposit: their full name as it appears on the account, the bank, and the account number. For a wallet: the registered mobile number. For cash pickup: their full name exactly as printed on the ID they will bring to the counter. A mismatched name is the single most common reason a transfer stalls.
Can I cancel a transfer?
Until the funds are released to the payout partner, yes — cancel it in your account and the money comes back to the card or account it came from. Once it has landed in a Nepali account or been collected in cash it cannot be pulled back, so check the recipient details on the confirmation screen.
